Oil Tank Dwelling

Created by Eazy-O and came 3rd in our our Dwellings Competition.

I used a CD for the base, a tuna can for the tank itself and 2mm cardboard for the interior; walls, appliances and furniture were cut up and glued inside and bedding was made out of DAS clay. The welds on the tank are PVA glue and the ladder are staples. Basing is just sand. Some random bits and pieces were used for detailing.

Painting was a selection of random acrylics. It was basecoated with spray paint, though, followed by several washes and layers of rust. For some details I designed/found and printed out a poster, TV screen and an oil company logo.
